The film profiles Alice Tregay, a woman who fought for African American civil rights in Chicago. Her remarkable story spans the historic period from the marches of Dr. King to the election of Barack Obama. Her unique contribution to the field of politics is the thread that connects the two.

The film Alice’s Ordinary People, honors the selfless activists of the Chicago Freedom Movement, and will inspire future generations to “take up the mantle and continue the fight.”
