Event Details

Make a Virtual Read-Out Video and celebrate your right to read. Join the Banned Books Week movement by posting a video of yourself reading from a banned book or discussing censorship. Videos may be featured on the Banned Books Week YouTube Channel and the Epplteens Evergreen Park Public Library YouTube Channel. Teens who participate receive a book sticker.

Guidelines:

  • Videos should be less than 3 minutes
  • Include the phrase "Banned Books Week" when titling and tagging your video. For example: "Banned Books Week Virtual Read-Out: A Reading from "All Boys Aren't Blue."
  • Email your submission to Mary Black at blackm@evergreenparklibrary.org to receive your sticker.
