The Living Library provides an opportunity for members of the public(readers) to share and understand the background, interests, or perspectives of others (books) through respectful one-to-one conversations.

Books come from all walks of life: they have experienced situations of awesomeness or adversity. They may represent groups in our community that have been subjected to stereotyping or misconception.
