"The Melt" Screening and Discussion

In honor of Earth Day, Director Brian Zigulich will join us to view and discuss his film, The Melt.  

In the spring of 2022, the creators of "The Melt" embarked on a two-week expedition through the remote Olympic Mountain Range on Washington State's Olympic Peninsula. The journey followed the annual migration of water, beginning at Mt. Olympus, flowing through the Hoh River, and ending at the Pacific Ocean. Collaborating with the Chala’at Nation (Hoh Tribe) and other skilled individuals, they explored the sacred lands and captured the essence of this natural cycle. This video chronicles their incredible experience, blending stunning landscapes with cultural and environmental significance.
