Leaping off the page! In honor of Will Eisner Week, join Matt Sernaker, Editor-in-Chief at ComicsOnline, for a discussion on how comic book storytelling transitioned to mainstream pop culture. This session highlights how different creators are innovating within the medium and how these characters have made the leap to other forms of entertainment. The presentation will showcase various comic book movies and other media like Adam West's Batman (60s), The Incredible Hulk (80s), Batman: The Animated Series & X-Men: The Animated Series (90s), and more. Participants will also learn about Marvel's rise to cinematic prominence, how shows like The Walking Dead and Invincible have impacted the comic book medium, and what comes next.

In his current role as Editor-in-Chief at ComicsOnline, he has partnered with each of the major comic book publishers and studios to craft unique reviews and engaging interviews.
