Planting Lettuce and Herbs in a Bag with the Cook County South Suburban Master Gardeners

Join an instructor from the Cook County South Suburban Master Gardeners to learn about plant basics: seed germination, soil health, plant structure, plant care and discuss the importance of the four primary plant growth factors. Individuals are invited to make their own mini-greenhouse using a plastic sandwich bag and potting soil to grow lettuce, chives, or basil seed indoors. Herbs and lettuce can be planted outdoors after the danger of frost has passed.  Registration required.  Limit 36.
