Members of the public are welcome to attend. Each regular agenda provides time for public participation. Patrons addressing the Library Board must state their full name for the record, and limit their comments to three minutes.

From the shotgun shack to our 44^th president, the Black Experience in Chicago is rich, nuanced, and profound.

Play brings joy and it is helpful for problem solving. Research shows that being playful is an integral way to help enjoy life.

Join us for an art reception featuring an exhibit of tiny art created by children of the community! Light refreshments will be served.  Drop-in anytime from 1pm-3pm.

Walk with the Library in the Independence Day parade on June 27.  We will contact you before June 27 to give you our parade number and where we will be lining up.

Everyone is invited to bring color to our world with refreshments (while supplies last) and coloring in the library.  Join us in the Children's Department to relax, destress, and create.  Drop in any time from 2pm-8pm.
