Tech Time Drop-In is an opportunity for patrons to ask “how-to” technology questions and get assistance with using their personal devices from our Evergreen Park Community High School Tech Interns.

Preschool Storytime combines stories and songs for kids from 3-5 years old.  Please register.  

Be a high school reading buddy! Earn service hours and foster a love of reading.

Reading Buddies is a literacy program for children in grades K-5. Children choose a library book, read aloud to their high school reading buddy, play games, and work on homework!

Children and their families will enjoy stories and songs together in front of the fireplace in the Reading Room. Feel free to wear your pajamas and/or bring a stuffed friend!

Join us to make something fun with your little one.

Drop in to the Library for a different free play activity every Friday after school anytime from 3pm to 4:45pm.  For kids in 5th grade and younger.

The Evergreen Park Public Library Foundation is bringing back its popular Sip & Sample Fundraiser! Join us for an award-winning themed evening of sipping wine paired with samples of delicious, locally prepared food.

Join us anytime from noon-4pm to make handmade cards for kids who are hospitalized.  Children, teens, and adults are welcome.  We'll send the cards to the Chicago organization Cards for Hospitalized Kids (

Join us as we read a story and explore STEAM concepts together!  For kids in grades K-2.

Drop in at 4pm on the first and third Thursday of the month to doodle and draw.  In a relaxed and inclusive environment, we will try a drawing challenge or free draw and show off our art.  For kids in kindergarten through 5th grade.

Adults with limited knowledge of computers can learn the main components, mouse, keyboard and common terminology. This is a hands-on class.
