Learn the criteria and procedures for making a legal name change in Illinois and Cook County. Gender self-determination, free of government limitations, is the goal of this workshop.
The Transformative Justice Law Project of Illinois provides free help to guide transgender and gender nonconforming people through the complicated and expensive process of making a legal name change.
This event is in collaboration with the Blue Island Public Library, the Forest Park Public Library, and the Linda Sokol Francis Brookfield Library.
