Mark Young Ph.D, Professor Emeritus at the University of Central Florida has worked as a therapist in community mental health, college counseling centers, private practice and corrections for over 20 years. He is the author of five textbooks including the widely used techniques book, Learning the Art of Helping from Pearson. He has been a state and national leader in mental health counseling and is Past President of the Association for Spiritual, Ethical and Religious Values in Counseling. Dr. Young has been a meditator for 40 years and has taught meditation to hundreds of individuals in educational and professional settings.
