New year, new career! Evergreen Park Public Library will be offering free professional headshots to help boost your confidence and give you a leg up in your new job hunt. According to LinkedIn, having a professional headshot attached to your profile can bring you 21 times more profile views and 9 times more connection requests. Reserve a 10 minute session in advance beginning January 17. The first session begins at 1 pm, and last session will be at 4 pm.
Call 708.422.8522 ext 2 to reserve your time slot. In the event that time slots fill up, you will be placed in order on a waitlist and notified of an opening.
Some tips to prepare for your headshot:
- Dress to match your prospective job role. It is best to wear a solid, neutral colored top.
- Natural make up photographs well
- Don't wear too much jewelry to distract from your gorgeous face
- If you wear glasses, be sure to bring them to the session
- Come prepared to smile, and nab that job!
