Program Description
Event Details
In honor of National Yarn Bombing Day on June 11 and the kick off of our "Reading Colors Your World" Summer Reading Program, we invite local crafters to help us yarn bomb trees around the library. Crochet or knit colorful swatches in advance and drop by on June 12 to sew them to the display of color!
What you should know:
- Please crochet or knit your swatches, granny squares, or strips in advance.
- Swatches will be sewn snugly to the trees on June 12. Bring a darning needle to sew your work onto the trees, or one will be provided to you.
- Stop by any time between 9 am and 3 pm in the Library's parking lot.
- This is a great yarn stash buster! Don't be afraid to use cheap yarn. The more colorful, the better!
- Email hartej@evergreenparklibrary.org if you have any questions!
Limited quantities of yarn are available to borrow at the Reference Desk.
