The Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, annular solar eclipse will cross North, Central, and South America. It will be visible in parts of the United States, Mexico, and many countries in South and Central America. The Chicago area will see a 40-50% eclipse. Stop by the Reference Desk before Saturday for a free eclipse viewer lens while supplies last. One per family. Then hold on to it for the next eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024!
