Everyone is invited to bring color to our world with refreshments (while supplies last) and coloring in the library.  Join us in the Children's Department to relax, destress, and create.  Drop in any time from 2pm-8pm.

Create fantasy-creature inspired tattoo sleeves with artist Shomeka Johnson. We'll stir up mugs of kraken juice to sip during the program. 

Toddler Time is an interactive storytime program for children ages 18-35 months and their adult caregivers. Please register. 

Bring your own box (any size) and turn it into "not a box." We'll read Antionette Portis' latest book, Not-A-Box City, then use our imaginations and craft supplies to turn our box into something else!

Make a tie-dyed t-shirt. Please bring your own washed, white, cotton t-shirt. The dye stains, so wear old clothes and shoes. We will meet in the staff parking lot behind the Library.  For kids entering 12th grade and under. 

Preschool Storytime combines stories and songs for kids from 3-5 years old.  Please register.  There is no Preschool Storytime on June 19, 2025.

It's time to get some new-to-you books at our book swap! Bring in your gently used YA or children's books (in good condition) and trade them for the same number of books. Lots to choose from!

Get ready to dodge, duck, dip and splash in this exciting twist on a classic game!  Players will compete in a friendly outdoor game of dodgeball using water balloons.  Wear clothes that can get wet and feel free to bring a towel.

Enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and fun for you and your baby!  For babies from birth through 17 months with a caregiver.  Please register. 

Give your brain the workout it needs to stay sharp! Participate in interactive brain-teasers, games, and puzzles that get you thinking. Coming together and learning new things is good for your noggin! Recommended for older adults.

Beware, playing chess can make you brainy! Play and learn chess under the guidance of EPCHS Chess Team players.  All levels of play are welcome.

Join us for an exciting game of blacklight bingo. Make sure to add to the fun and wear white or neon colors to glow in the blacklight along with your BINGO card. Small prizes and drinks will be provided. Feel free to bring your own snack!

We're taking over the quiet reading room to do some sustained silent reading.  Bring a book (and, if you'd like, a blanket and/or pillow to help you get comfortable) and we'll spend the first 45 minutes together reading silently.
