Event Details

Representatives from the University of Illinois Extension will talk about the benefits of worm composting. Worm composting is using worms to recycle food scraps and other organic material into a valuable soil amendment called vermicompost, or worm compost. There will be a bin on hand, and they will construct a new bin that will be a door prize for a lucky attendee!
