Learn about artists such as Van Gogh and Picasso, then create your own art using the techniques they used. For kids in grades K through 5.

We're gonna party like it's the day before New Year's Eve!  We'll have stories, snacks, noise makers, dancing, and a countdown to noon.  Feel free to wear your party clothes.  Please register.

Give your brain the workout it needs to stay sharp! Participate in interactive brain-teasers, games, and puzzles that get you thinking. Coming together and learning new things is good for your noggin! Recommended for older adults.

Leave your inner critic at the door for a night of judgment-free creative expression! Bad Art Night is a freestyle crafting event where the goal is to make the “worst” piece of art.

New job? Dream vacation? New home? Better health? Stella is back to guide you through the process of making a 2026 vision board!  Creating a vision board will help you priortize goals, values, and intentions.

Kids engage with books through poses, shapes, and stretches. Feel free to bring a yoga mat or beach towel. Please register.

Start the New Year With Meditation 

Join us as we read a story and explore STEAM concepts together!  For kids in grades K-2.

Be a high school reading buddy! Earn service hours and foster a love of reading.

Reading Buddies is a literacy program for children in grades K-5. Children choose a library book, read aloud to their high school reading buddy, play games, and work on homework!

This class is geared towards functional strength and mobility to improve longevity and decrease the risk of injury.

Drop in to the Library for a different free play activity every Friday after school anytime from 3pm to 4:45pm.  For kids in 5th grade and younger.

Create your 2026 vision board by assembling a collage made of magazine cutouts of your dreams and goals! 

Drop by the Library for a playdate! Try out our toy collection and enjoy a variety of play stations as you meet other little ones and their caregivers.  For kids ages 5 and under.

Roll up your sleeves and get ready for some messy fun. Drop in anytime from 1:30 to 3 pm for some sensory play and exploration. This playtime program is for children ages 5 and under and their caregivers. No registration required.

Enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and fun for you and your baby!  For babies from birth through 17 months with a caregiver. There is no Baby Bookworm on January 19.  Please register.

Give your brain a boost and play chess at the Library! All levels of play are welcome. Knowledgeable EPCHS high school chess players are on hand to coach and instruct players.  

Let's dish about cookbooks! Prepare a recipe of your choice from a cookbook and bring to share. Copies of the cookbook will be available one month prior to the event at the Circulation DEsk.
