Kids entering 5th grade and younger are invited to drop in anytime from 2pm-4pm to make a bracelet to help you get ready for your Juneteenth celebration!

Bring a box big enough for your child to sit in.  Use our craft supplies to turn the box into a car!  Then your child can hop into the driver's seat, grab a snack and watch a short cartoon.  Craft supplies and snack provided. 

Join us for an art reception featuring an exhibit of tiny art created by children of the community! Light refreshments will be served.  Drop-in anytime from 1pm-3pm.

Join us for 4 weeks of messy, outdoor fun!  We'll splash, splatter, drip, spray and create!  Please wear clothes that you can get messy in.  In case of rain, we will meet indoors.

Join us at the Evergreen Park Urban Barn at James J. Sexton Park for an evening of plein air painting - painting outdoors. Find inspiration in the barn animals, butterflies, wildflowers and more. Art supplies provided.

Everyone is invited to bring color to our world with refreshments (while supplies last) and coloring in the library.  Join us in the Children's Department to relax, destress, and create.  Drop in any time from 2pm-8pm.

Create fantasy-creature inspired tattoo sleeves with artist Shomeka Johnson. We'll stir up mugs of kraken juice to sip during the program. 

Bring your own box (any size) and turn it into "not a box." We'll read Antionette Portis' latest book, Not-A-Box City, then use our imaginations and craft supplies to turn our box into something else!

Make a tie-dyed t-shirt. Please bring your own washed, white, cotton t-shirt. The dye stains, so wear old clothes and shoes. We will meet in the staff parking lot behind the Library.  For kids entering 12th grade and under.
