Start your summer off right by getting some new-to-you books at our book swap! Bring in your gently used YA or children's books (in good condition) and trade them for the same number of books. Lots to choose from!

Participants are given 40 minutes, a theme, an unfrosted cupcake, and enough frosting and candy to create a masterpiece. The Library's cupcake-eating experts will judge the contest.  Prizes will be awarded.

Celebrate Pride Month with a night of music and dance. Snacks and drinks will be served! 

Drop in anytime from 4 to 8:45 pm for a fun scavenger hunt featuring the Very Hungry Caterpillar! Pictures of all the food that the caterpillar ate will be hidden around the library for kids to find.

Meet the Evergreen Park Community High School art students who have created portraits of Black heroes who embody the spirit of Juneteenth.

A sweet summer calls for candy! Help us bag candy to prepare for the Evergreen Park 4th of July Parade on Friday, June 28.  Start racking up service hours for the 2024-2025 school year.

Enjoy a bowl of breakfast cereal while competing with other kids to finish a 100-piece puzzle.  Prizes will be awarded.

Roll candy sushi with us and share your anime/manga fandom with friends.  The Library will provide all the sweets and drawing supplies.
