Chicago's Grid with Bill Savage

Bill Savage will recount the history of how State and Madison Streets became the X and Y axes of Chicago’s street numbering grid in 1909, and then the ethnic and racial politics of street naming and renaming from the early 20^th Century right up through Du Sable Lake Shore Drive.
