Celebrate National Poetry Month in our Teen Poetry Makerspace! Try blackout poetry, magnetic poetry, book spine poetry, found poetry, and more. 

Create a team of 2-6 people and join us for a fun-filled morning of trivia!  Each team must have at least one child aged 13 or younger and one adult.  Most appropriate for families with children in 3rd grade and older.

Thank you for volunteering for the Stacks Social Club. Your tasks include helping with setup, assisting the club members with the activity, and cleanup. 

Let's dig in and learn how to make a terrarium! Try out your green thumb and create a beautiful home for hardy succulents.  The Stacks Social Club serves teens and young adults with disabilities. 

Chess rookies and masters meet at the Library to learn and play chess. EPCHS Chess Team players will teach the fundamentals of the game. All levels of play are welcome.

Come to the Library anytime from 11am to 8:30pm to play giant Twister in the downstairs meeting room.  Fun for the whole family!

Channel the force on National Star Wars Day and join us for our Star Wars Party!  Play Star Wars bingo, take part in outer-galactic crafts, and create your own Jedi Lightsaber.  Kids get a free Star Wars book while supplies last.

We're bringing back those zany Minute to Win it games. Join us for an evening a friendly, funny competition.  For kids in grades K-5.

The Library welcomes back the Hinsdale Humane Society for a pawsitively wonderful therapy dog visit.    Along with our visit, club members can make dog toys to donate to the shelter.

Beware, playing chess can make you brainy! Play and learn chess under the guidance of EPCHS Chess Team players.  All levels of play are welcome.

It's time to get some new-to-you books at our book swap! Bring in your gently used YA or children's books (in good condition) and trade them for the same number of books. Lots to choose from!
