Bring your dancing shoes and best air guitar moves because it's time to go rockin' with Chicago musician, Leonardo. Get ready to sing along to familiar hits and some movin' and groovin' original songs! 

Join us anytime from noon-4pm to make handmade cards for kids who are hospitalized.  Children, teens, and adults are welcome.  We'll send the cards to the Chicago organization Cards for Hospitalized Kids (

Enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and fun for you and your baby!  For babies from birth through 17 months with a caregiver. There is no Baby Bookworm on January 19.  Please register.

Kids in grades 3-5 are invited to fold, create, and have fun making awesome paper creations.

Give your brain a boost and play chess at the Library! All levels of play are welcome. Knowledgeable EPCHS high school chess players are on hand to coach and instruct players.  

Learn about artists such as Van Gogh and Picasso, then create your own art using the techniques they used. For kids in grades K through 5.

Toddler Time is an interactive story time program for children ages 18-35 months and their adult caregivers. Please register.

Volunteer to help set up with crafts, snacks, and clean up. Earn 3 hours of community service.

Tech Time Drop-In is an opportunity for patrons to ask “how-to” technology questions and get assistance with using their personal devices from our Evergreen Park Community High School Tech Interns.

Preschool Storytime combines stories and songs for kids from 3-5 years old.  Please register.  

Be a high school reading buddy! Earn service hours and foster a love of reading.

Reading Buddies is a literacy program for children in grades K-5. Children choose a library book, read aloud to their high school reading buddy, play games, and work on homework!

Children and their families will enjoy stories and songs together in front of the fireplace in the Reading Room. Feel free to wear your pajamas and/or bring a stuffed friend!
